Corporate FAQs

Do teachers have to be certified?

Yes, all teachers should have at least a 200 hour training

certificate from a Yoga college or school. And at least £2 million Public Liability Insurance.

Do we need our own space to run a corporate class or workshop our workplace?

Yes, ideally it would be better, especially if it’s a regular class. However, arrangement’s can be made for one day events, retreats or special weekends.

Are these suitable for beginners?

Yes most certainly!

Anyone can participate in a private session, it is entirely tailored to your requirements and you don’t need to have any experience with Yoga at all, to start. Mixed abilities are the norm in private groups.

What if I fall asleep during the relaxation?

The teacher will bring everyone round before the end of the

session however, as this is the most important pose within the yoga class, it is important to challenge yourself to try and keep your full awareness of your body and breathe without distracting thoughts. It’s a beautiful time to silence your mind.

Will the teacher touch me?

Yes probably, although Sharon will ask before doing so.

As we hold a lot of tension in our bodies that we don’t realise, the teacher can help you to relax and go a little deeper into the pose. If you are not comfortable with this, speak with Sharon beforehand.

What are the benefits of doing YOGA?

1) Asanas - This is the exercise, poses/postures we put the body into.

2) Pranayama – This is breath, you will learn to use your breath to move deeper into and assist your asanas.

3) Savasana - This is Relaxation, probably the most important posture of all and you will learn to appreciate the stillness within.
